Our Wedding

Our love story began halfway across the world—on Twitter. While he was deployed in Africa and I was living in Houston, Texas, fate connected us through a simple message. What started as casual conversation quickly turned into something much more meaningful, as we shared our dreams, hopes, and experiences across time zones and continents. Once he was home in Rochester, New York, we began the whirlwind of long-distance flights, taking turns traveling to see each other. With each visit, our bond grew stronger, and it didn’t take long for us to realize we were building something truly special. Eventually, I made the life-changing decision to leave Houston behind and move to Rochester, where we could begin our life together. We each have one son, and now we’re excited to merge our families, creating a blended life full of love, laughter, and new memories. As we prepare to say I do, we’re not just celebrating the love we share, but the distance we’ve overcome and the beautiful journey that has led us here. We’re grateful for the support of our families and friends, and we can’t wait to start this next chapter as a family.

Hi, I'm Lauren -  most importantly I am the mama to the sweetest boy, Leo, and also bride-to-be to the love of my life, Brian. Being Leo's mom is the greatest joy of my life, and watching him bond with Brian has been one of the most beautiful chapters of our love story. I'm a Ravenclaw, a huge Lord of the Rings fan, lover of all things cozy, spontaneous adventures, and espresso martinis. I've always believed in love but never imagined I'd find someone who not only loves me deeply, but loves my Leo just as much (probably even more)! I can't wait to marry my best friend and begin our next chapter as a family.

This is Brian -  resident goofball, steadfast partner, and proud daddy to Jackson. He's the guy who can make any situation lighter with a perfectly timed joke, keep calm when the rest of us are spiraling (usually me), and love without hesitation. He's an incredible father to Jackson and seeing how he has embraced Leo with such patience, kindness, and genuine love has meant absolutely everything to me. He is the calm to my chaos, the one who reminds me to breathe (and eat), and the reason I believe so deeply in this love. I can't wait to marry him!

Meet Leo, our charming and energetic Little Man of Honor! This little guy loves to steal the show—whether it’s dancing, singing, or just being the center of attention, he’ll keep you smiling all day long. Not only is he the cutest addition to our bridal party, but he’s also about to gain a new family member when Brian officially adopts him. We couldn’t imagine this special day without him by our side. Leo, you’re our joy, our spark, and the heart of this celebration!

Meet Jackson, the Little Best Man with a big heart and an even bigger personality! Full of knowledge and endless energy, he’s always ready to share a fun fact or get the party started. Jackson’s rambunctious spirit is sure to keep everyone on their toes, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I can’t wait to officially become his stepmom and share many more adventures with this awesome kid. Jackson, you’re a true rockstar, and we’re so lucky to have you standing by our side on this big day!

This is Mallory, my best friend and the sister I never had. We’ve been through it all together—laughing, crying, celebrating, and supporting each other every step of the way. Mallory is the kind of friend who knows exactly when you need a shoulder to lean on or a hilarious distraction to brighten your day. She’s been my rock, my confidante, and the one person who has always believed in me, no matter what. I’m so honored to have her standing beside me as my Maid of Honor. Mallory, I can’t wait to share this incredible day with you, and to continue our journey of friendship for many years to come!
